Candlelight Vigil for Iran

A candlelight vigil will be held in response to the ongoing human rights crisis in Iran. Peaceful protests in Iran have reportedly been met with violent crackdowns and widespread communication blackouts, resulting in thousands of deaths within days and leaving families and communities isolated from the world.

The event is organized by SUARAM, Sisters in Islam, KLSCAH Youth and UMANY, which will gather Malaysians in solidarity with the Iranian people and to amplify calls for justice and human rights.

Participants are invited to bring candles and observe a moment of silence.
