First Winner: Persatuan Tindakan Alam Sekitar Kuala Langat

A grassroots environmental group was formed last year in response to the issue of plastic waste in Jenjarom, Selangor. Despite having no prior experience in campaigning, the local community members have been diligent in their efforts. They have learned to write proper complaint letters and follow up on environmental issues with local authorities.
