The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) is concerned about the latest round of the Israel-Palestine conflict, which has escalated into military actions, once again resulting in the loss of thousands of innocent lives and injuries.
KLSCAH condemns and opposes any military actions that cause harm and suffering to innocent civilians.
KLSCAH believes that all parties, including the United Nations, ASEAN, and governments of various countries, have an obligation to demand the cessation of all forms of military actions and violence between Israel and Palestine and facilitate humanitarian aid to the civilian population in the Gaza Strip.
To facilitate humanitarian aid from the international community, the relevant authorities must lift the blockade on Gaza promptly so that the needs for food and medical supplies can be adequately addressed.
KLSCAH also calls for the release of prisoners and hostages on both sides and allowing refugees and displaced persons to return to their homes.
