This year’s Peszta brings together 7 venues all across Kampung Attap, thus doubling the scale of our first festival. Since last year, our kampung has grown with new neighbours who’ve recently activated their spaces, including Triptyk, HEART Residence, and Pusat Kesenian DBKL. Here’s the who’s who of the neighbourhood!

🔴 KL & SELANGOR CHINESE ASSEMBLY HALL (@klscah) is an events space and cultural centre that had its beginnings as the parent founder of Chinese clan associations in Selangor and KL and the headquarters among Chinese associations across the nation. This year, it celebrates its 100th anniversary.

🟠 SAM MANSION is an apartment building that’s been in the neighbourhood for over 50 years. The ground floor is host to a number of commercial tenants, including @transparent_kl and Studio @redhongyi.

🟡 THE ZHONGSHAN BUILDING (@thezhongshanbuilding) is an art and research hub that’s been operating since 2017. Their tenants include independent retailers, artist studios, artisanal F&B, and small spaces for showing art and live music.

🟢 TRIPTYK (@triptyk.my) is a concept-driven restaurant that hosts pop-up chefs and vendors, often with fusion and experimental flavours.

🔵 PUSAT KESENIAN DBKL is a newly-opened arts centre under DBKL that supports the performing arts of Malaysia (traditional and modern), particularly dance.

🟣 HOUSE OF ART (HEART) RESIDENCE (@heartresidence) is a co-living short-term rental space for artists.

⚫️ PENTAGO HOUSE (@pentagogroup) is the office of the award-winning Pentago Group, a group of companies providing services in masterplanning, architecture, and landscape architecture.

Each venue has something different to offer this year that’s in line with their vibe – including food, exhibitions, workshops, markets, talks, performances, and so much more. There’ll be programming for all age groups. Stay tuuuuuned! ~
