KLSCAH ingin meratapi pemergian Haris Ibrahim, seorang peguam yang mengendalikan kes-kes mengenai kebebasan beragama, kecekapan mahkamah sivil dan Islam, dan yang aktif dalam beberapa gerakan sosial, mulai dari gerakan Reformasi pada tahun 1998 kepada gerakan Walk for Judicial Independence (WFJI) yang dianjurkan oleh Malaysian Bar pada bulan Jun tahun lepas.
