<\/a><\/p>\nThe Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 has outlined 11 strategic and operational shifts to transform the country’s education system. However, the initial response from the public, including education groups, has been mixed. Many different and divergent opinions have been expressed. Some have said that the Blueprint is comprehensive and complete whilst others have described it as \u201cold wine in new bottle.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Deputy Prime Minister is reported to have called for public feedback on the Blueprint before a final report is prepared for the Cabinet in December.<\/p>\n
It is in this context that GBM has decided to organise the forum as a form of public consultation. The invited scholars and representatives of education development groups will present their views and suggestions on the Blueprint. This forum will also be an opportunity for members of the public to provide feedback and inputs.<\/p>\n
Gabungan Bertindak Malaysia (GBM) will take into consideration the views and feedback from the public forum in formulating its own input to the Government.<\/p>\n
The Panel of Speakers are: Encik Zaid Kamaruddin, the Secretary of Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia (IKRAM) cum the Deputy Chairperson of GBM, will be the Moderator.<\/p>\n The forum will be held as per details below:- The forum is open to the public and admission is free.
