Eight years after the historic 509 General Election, many institutional reforms promised to Malaysians remain unfinished. At the same time, growing political apathy and declining public confidence in reform efforts have raised important questions about the future of democratic participation, accountability, and governance in Malaysia.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>As Malaysia continues its democratic journey, it is crucial to remind citizens that every vote plays a meaningful role in shaping the nation\u2019s future. It is equally important to encourage greater public engagement in discussions on key reform issues, while promoting accountability among political parties and candidates in fulfilling the commitments and promises made to the people.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH), together with Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia (IKRAM), BERSIH, Gabungan Bertindak Malaysia (GBM), Sabah Action Body Advocating Rights (SABAR) and Association for Advocacy & Community Empowerment (ACE), will be organising a public forum entitled \u201cTogether We Re-shape Our Nation (Jom! Bentuk Semula Negara Kita)\u201d.<\/span>
