Introduction:
Malaysia has witnessed the resignation of Tun Mahathir as prime minister, the appointment of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia and Perikatan Nasional (PN) replaced Pakatan Harapan (PH) as coalition government since Sheraton Move in February.

In July, the Muafakat Nasional (MN) coalition comprising of PAS and UMNO extended an invitation to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin-led Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) to join the alliance.

In light of recent events, from the conviction of Datuk Seri Najib Razak, failed Sabah coup by Tan Sri Musa Aman, the establishment of PEJUANG by Tun Mahathir to BERSATU’s decision to join the MN coalition, the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) Current Events Webinar Series will bring forth various speakers to discuss the possible scenarios moving forward in Malaysian politics.
